LITTLE BELL PRODUCTIONS
Little Bell Productions is an interdisciplinary production company started by Brittany A. Little and Larissa Bell.
Little Bell evolved from a desire to amplify premium storytelling that puts unique voices at the center of the narrative, brings characters usually on the periphery into focus, and has global commercial appeal.
Prior to Little Bell, Brittany A. Little served as Vice President of Drama Development at Universal Television. In this role, she oversaw the drama development slates for various studio overall and first look deals including Dick Wolf, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Seven Bucks, Flavor Unit, Julie Plec, Malcolm D. Lee, Debra Martin Chase, Jenna Bans, Jessica Goldberg, Wondaland, and Monkeypaw. Brittany has led development on multiple drama pilots and series for broadcast, premium cable, and streaming such as the critical and commercial hits Bel-Air and The Best Man: The Final Chapters for Peacock, top ten broadcast series FBI and The Equalizer for CBS, and Almost Family for Fox.
Prior to Universal, Brittany was Director of Drama Programming at Fox where she oversaw pilots and current series for the network including Lee Daniels' Empire and Star. Earlier, Brittany worked for A&E Networks, where she developed and produced scripted, non-fiction, reality series and TV movies for A&E, Lifetime Movie Network, and the BIO channel. A two-time Primetime Emmy nominee, Brittany began her creative career working in theater and in production on Law and Order: SVU (NBC).
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Brittany graduated with a BA in History from the University of Chicago, has exquisite comedic timing, and is committed to propping open every door and pulling up as many seats to the table as possible.
BRITTANY A. LITTLE
Prior to co-founding Little Bell, Larissa Bell was a Development Executive for Amazon Studios where she shepherded Boots Riley’s critically acclaimed I’m a Virgo as well as the Emmy nominated limited series Swarm for the studio in addition to developing various other projects.
Before joining Amazon in 2020, Larissa was Director of Original Programming for Showtime Networks. In this position, she developed original ideas with filmmakers and also oversaw pilots and current programs for Showtime such as The Chi and The L Word: Generation Q. Prior to Showtime, Larissa worked in Current Programming at Universal Television where she served as the studio executive on The Bold Type (Freeform), Marlon (NBC), Russian Doll (Netflix), and The Mindy Project (Hulu), among other streaming, premium cable, and network shows. Additionally, she spent several years at NBC Entertainment in Drama Development.
Larissa earned her Masters of Entertainment Industry Management at Carnegie Mellon University and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Larissa began her entertainment career as an intern, and later assistant, at Showtime Networks.
A native of South Los Angeles, Larissa is passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices, mentoring young people, and striving for a life full of laughter.
